I just wanna reflect

You know there will be times where people say something and make you feel insecure about yourself or a time where someone will try anything to make you feel like you aren’t worthy. All of high school I had friends who told me what to do and what is best for me. I never really got to do anything until I got off this island and make a name for myself. I got to be me who I always have been. There will always be one person telling you who you are and the one that is, is you. People that are telling you to do things and making you feel like someone you aren’t are just confirming any insecurities you may have. “You gotta do you booboo” is a line I like to say to myself so that I don’t feel like I am being shy around anyone. I am who I am, I know I can be what I wanna be, If I work hard at it, I’ll be where I wanna be. Just like that song by Nas “I can.” Just remember don’t let anyone take control of your mind. You are in control so take control.
